  1. If the craftsmanship of the tools is any indication, then it might be a good deal. If you can then you might want to go take a better look at that forge, you can't really see it very well and there are some problems you need to look out for. If it needs to be relined or if the bricks are all broken then that could cost a little bit. $175 is a decent price for just the forge if it performs as he says it does, even if it needs to be relined. I would jump on it, after I looked at everything.

  2. First, I would like to thank everybody on this forum for the help you guys provided. I asked a couple of questions, but for the most part I scoured ya'lls designs and information that was already here. It took a few months to gather all the materials and tools (I now own pretty much everything that I need to operate a small metalworking/blacksmithing shop) and there were definitely some stumbling blocks along the way, but I am now proud to say that I did it.   3. Where is the best place to get some duraboard? I want to use it for the doors on the forge I am building, but I can't find any that is available online in the small quantity that I need. I only need two sq. feet of the stuff. Any ideas? Thanks.
