Brake drum forge is cheap and easy to make, you can go on line and see how to make one, Mine works great.

Hello, I'm new at knife making, I have made a leaf spring knife and a rail road spike knife, I am a forklift mechanic,background is mechanic on auto,heavy equip. and airplanes, I made a brake drum forge,and coal. I will take any advice on heat treating, Just learning. Thanks
