Looks great!

Thanks. Yes, as with all tongs, you will need them in different sizes. This pair is for 25-45mm stock range roughly.
-
Thanks. Yes for toughness. I hope they will hold up fairly good.

Hello!
I have seen Nathan Robertson use this style of tongs and finally decided to give them a try. If you're interested and can handle another tongs video, here is my first try on this style.
They seem quite versatile! I haven't tried them out much yet but time will tell how well they work...

Thanks Senft and Dustin. More videos will come in the future, I promise.

Thank you Frosty!

Thanks. Yes I've been a member for quite a while, but not very active since last year or so.

Great!

Perfect!

Thank you!

Cool !! Yes, there are many design possibilities from this basic concept.
I may have to try something like yours as well!

Thanks!

Hi,
I made this video earlier back in September but forgot to post it here.
Here I show how to make a simple touchmark stamp. With a steady hand and a dremel you might manage to do quite complex designs, I just use files for this one.

Hello,
Candlesticks or candle holders are nice projects for the holiday season. A couple of weeks ago I made this video. Hope it can bring some inspiration!

Hi,
I decided to experiment with a way to make a tealight candle holder from plate. Here is the result.

Thank you guys!
As a side note I find it a little odd to see one of Jake's center punches on a video filmed in Sweden. I have one in a different configuration (as well as some other tools he has made) but since Jacob only lives maybe 20 miles from me its not all that odd.
Product placement I love Jake's work and ordered a center punch to support him. Works great btw.

Hello!
It has been a while since I posted anything here... well today I finished a small project. Here is the video and I hope it can be of some interest to you all.

Hello.
Made a video on how I made another nail header like this:

Thanks!
Yes Francis, I might have been a little over optimistic when drifting. It's easy to get carried away :) Slitting the eye first is an option, but you have to close it up quite a bit to make it fit the swage I assume. Might think of that next time...

Hello.
I just made a new video to encourage and inspire you all to forge your own tools!
This is one way you can forge a flatter.

Hannes, it's just linseed oil.

Hi,
I have been experimenting with a small unique (i think) project - a candle shaper. It's like a pencil sharpener for candles, to make them fit odd sized candle holders. Here is the video of the work-flow.

Hi, and thanks!
ausfire, the veining texture is done with an ordinary cross pein that is quite thin and rounded. Nothing fancy.
JimsShip, yes the hardy tool is just a folded up round bar. Picked up that somewhere, can't remember...
