    Here is the follow up on this little ball peen hawk. Heat treated, aged, and put on a piece of curly maple. Turned out good for a first attempt.

    I plan to "age" it, heat treat it and blue it. I've got some nice fiddleback maple for the handle.

    This is my first hawk forged from a 8-10oz ball peen hammer ($1 at a junk shop). Thought I would start small and work my way up.
