LDW Members May 5, 201016 yr Author stats That is a good question Corlupi, it does not ring, it is a very quiet anvil, because it is firmly fastened to the stand and the stand is anchored to the floor. I drilled and tapped the bottom of this anvil with some large bolts, therefore it is secured down. A steel bas is very quiet as long as everything is fastened together. Brian pointed this out to me, I was not aware of it till then.
