Damascus Hammer Billet

Damascus Hammer Billet - first damascus attempt. Started with 1080 and 15n20 alternating for 11 layers. Welded and drawn out, cut and welded a second time, partially drawn out, then cleaned and ground for preliminary inspection. Will finish drawing out, cut and weld one more time to end up with 41 layers for the hammer(s). The billet presently is almost 1 5/8" square and 9" long.
