Thanks I been welding a fabing for over 25 years.
Know the do's and don't about coated meatals thanks for the reminders though.
I do plan on making a super sucker side draft for next to the fire pot.
I was really worried about the GAlvanized corroding away inside of ayear or so.
Didn't want to have to go through trouble of restacking the forge do to rotting.
Thanks for the info appriciate it all.

My 12" stack has been up since 98 and doesn't have any rust. It's used a lot. The turbin on top has been replaced because of the wind--not rust. the galvanize is above the fire enough to not get real hot. Pictures are in the gallery.

Hi T.O.B.S.
There was a guy down by Langenfelders place on 40, who sold 12" spiral wound pipe. There was another over in curtis bay (good luck with that!), near Henkels and McCoy, this info is fairly old, I lived in Overleigh a few years ago, but they were good sources for flue pipe etc. There is also a guy in Joppa near Egypt Farms who sells Pocohontas forge coal. There was also a guy in Joppa who was a truck & tractor breaker, who would let me pick through his broken axle pile for steel, you have to bring hard hat and steelies, but theres no such thing as bad axle steel. Good luck!
