    you might want to check with the CBA (California Blacksmiths Association)... great group and my guess, you will find a lot of blacksmiths that will open their shop up to you. If you are driving, and close to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, you are always welcome to visit my shop. I am 50 miles north of Ft. Worth. You can check out my websites to see somepictures of my shop and the tools that I use.
