HWooldridge Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 History International channel had a show on tonight about Sustenhofer, the famous Austrian armorer of Emperor Maximilian, from 7 to 8 pm, CST. Best of all, they showed a modern armorer raising an entire suit of armor from plate sheet steel using both hot and cold work. They said he had 59 hammers!!! I thought it was a well-done and accurate show in the details - they let the smith talk so there was no hipwader BS - just real BS. Check their website for future showings.
