water cooler for tig

Recommended Posts

Have run tig machines with numerous brands of water coolers over the years, Cool Mate, Miller, etc. All did the job and worked well. But some ran so loud that it was quite annoying, might have been the age on them, don't know.
The Miller units seemed to be the quietest running of them all.

I went with a Miller Coolmate 3. It is just what I was looking for; compact and very quiet, just enough sound to know it's running. I also went with a CK 300V torch with an Amptrac thumb control and 25' Super Flex leads with leather cover. With all connections ,parts , consumables and shipping the whole setup came to about a grand at Central Welding in Burlington ,Wa.
