activate Posted October 4, 2008 Share Posted October 4, 2008 Hi everyone, I thought I would give a brief introduction and hope to get some help with a question. My name is Niels and I am currently living in Mountain View, California. I grew up with blades from all over the world (Japanese swords, Indonesian kris, etc) and recently got interested in blacksmithing with the hope of making knives. I just started taking blacksmithing lessons with a CBA instructor in San Jose but really need to find a way to practice more on my own. Unfortunately, to keep domestic peace, I cannot set up a forge at home. I was wondering if anyone might have any suggestions on how to get access to a forge and anvil to get my own practice time.
