Identify my anvil

Recommended Posts

Have the anvil in the photo. Has been in the family since around the mid 1800's when members migrated to South Australia from England. It moved to Queensland about 1902. From what we can see in the phot we think it could be Attwood Stourbridge Warranted on the RH side. See photo. On the LH side at the front 1 is stamped and at the back 14. It appears to have done a lot of hard work over the years and to my knowledge has lived in the open air. IMG_3596.thumb.jpeg.a2f7c406c78f98d3348ee21b3b39e8bc.jpeg

Welcome from the Ozark Mountains. You may want to edit your post and remove the duplicate pictures. We have members who still have to rely on dial up internet or pay for data. Are you located in Queensland? Overall pictures of both sides and the bottom of the base will help in identification.

I can't control the wind, all I can do is adjust my sails.
