Jonah k
I built most of this last winter but it never worked properly. I used it a bit but the tensioning and tracking never worked properly. This weekend I finally finished it properly and it works like a charm now. I built most of it from scrap and a general bench grinder/2x24 belt grinder that was horrible(never buy one) so I ripped it apart and used some of the parts from that. I also got my buddy from work to turn me the platten wheels on his lathe. This thing weighs a ton. Ps: I would like to repeat never buy a bench grinder belt grinder combo they are absolutely useless especially for blademaking. I had a bunch of belts for it and I used them manually strapped to a 2x4 instead of on the grinder.
WeldinEldon
Nice Job. I’ve built about 17 grinders from scrap. Had to buy motors for quite a few now as they are a little harder to find in the junk pile. You’ll enjoy it
