Josh Doyle Posted November 3, 2015 Share Posted November 3, 2015 Hi all, I'm Josh. I live in Bartlett, TN and am new to the blacksmithing scene. I have always been interested in woodworking and forging since I was little. I finally have the little shop and "understanding neighbors" to start working with hot metal. I was recently informed of a small unclaimed inheritance and have ordered a forge and 100 lbs of smithing coal along with a 275 lb anvil. I know I should have built my own forge but I figure I can expand on this one if needed. I am very open to any suggestions and have been looking for a local Abana chapter but the River City Forge Guild has been dissolved. I do plan on taking some classes at the local metal musem also to get some hands on on proper technique. Sorry for the long winded post, haha.
