Pablo Posted August 8, 2007 Share Posted August 8, 2007 My name is Paul and ive been introduced to blacksmithing from a friend but all in all I know very little about it. I have the basic supplies needed to get me started and I have made some attempts at moving metal around. In the end ive had little success with it. right now im interested in bladesmithing but I am just shy of a few materials to get myself started, such as fuel . Right now i have a propane powered forge and im hopin to move towards a coal powered one since I have 10 acres of woods sitting behind my house. irnsrgn Posted August 8, 2007 Share Posted August 8, 2007 hello pablo, welcome to the ifi family, you need to look at joining a local smithing group, we could make recommendations, but you did not see fit to include where you are located. so its up to you know to inform us where you are and preferably to add you location to your profile.
