Francis Trez Cole
So I wanted a square face hammer I had a little extra time. This is what I made I started out with 2 1/4" round stock and forged it square under the power hammer. Then I punched, drifted, shaped the peen and kept it square by hand. It was a great exercise. EricJergensen
Nice! That looks like a fairly broad / blunt pein. What are the rough dimensions of the square face and the pein? Did you glue on the handle? Eric
Francis Trez Cole
yes its glued I like a fiberglass handle they hold up better in Florida for me. The face is 2" square and the peen is a 5/8" round. It works very well.
