Joseph Tinsley
my girlfriends dad has asked me to make him a clinch block made of a farriers rasp. after a short internet search i found a picture that led me to -lo and behold- this site. the thread shows only the top and front but i would like to be able to see the side so i could get an idea as to how the rasp was folded over (and possibly forge welded or not). if anybody has more pics on the subject or could offer some advice that would be much appreciated. here is the thread http://www.iforgeiron.com/topic/14943-old-farriers-rasps/
bigfootnampa
Just one fold, no weld... then the U-bend at the tang base for a grip. Easy stuff!
