ginshun
My first attempt at blacksmithing. I recently built a forge and burner to heat treat knives. In the past I have only made them through stock removal, but will probably try forging one in the near future, once I get some appropriate steel. The wine holder was made from a piece of A-36 that was drop from the burn table at work. It was roughly a 1/4 or 5/16 piece of square stock about a foot long to start with. I saw an image of a similar one in a Google image search, so I can't take credit for the design. Not the prettiest ever, but I am satisfied with the results, since is was my first try and actually making anything.
