What is it Hardie? Stake?

Featured Replies

Hi,
I found this interesting looking item in my neighbors workshop. I would like to know if it could be a hardie or some type of stake. The shaft measures 1 1/2" square. Any help would be appreciated. Bob55

Yes.......looks nice for working bends tighter than 90 degrees..

Its an attachment for an acorn platen there is also a half round and a long bar that hangs over the edge to put them in about 12 to 18 " from the table

What are they used for?

use them as stakes and general metal forming. the one in the picture is used as an anvil type stake because the platen has all those square holes
