CurlyGeorge
OK, to all you tire hammer builders out there. I'm in the process of assembling the parts that I have acquired. My question is how do I figure out how far off center of the tire do I set the eccentric that drives the hammer. I know that there are plans available for sale. It's not that I'm too cheap to buy them. I'm too broke. Haven't worked since the end of May. Anyway, I would really appreciate some advice on this. Thanks in advance.
Nakedanvil - Grant Sarver
Well, the crank throw on my 60lb little giant is 3". Seems like good enough starting point, ya think?
CurlyGeorge
By looking at the pix that some of the guys posted of their tire hammers, that would probably be close. I just wasn't sure if that would be right or not. Thanks for the help, Grant.
