July 27, 200916 yr We are an organization of Blacksmiths in the Northwest dedicated to the advancement of blacksmithing from the perspective of the professional. Our membership is free to all who wish to participate. We helped to promote the "Blacksmiths Swap Meet" in Seattle July 25, 2009. We will promote other activities in the Northwest that advance the craft of blacksmithing.
July 31, 200916 yr Dang, I wish I had known about the Blacksmith's swap meet! I was in Key Center, Wa buying my anvil on the 25th Anyways, is it just a once a year thing?
August 3, 200916 yr Author Annual event, last Saturday of July. Sorry you missed it. Or is it the third Saturday? Oh well, every year about this time.
September 25, 200916 yr Grant, I was curious about I Forge forums and found out it's free. It has all the bells and whistles of V Bulletin, numerous metal related catagories, "Everything a boy would want, dirt, fire and noise", as Paul Thorne told me his mother said when showing her his shop.
