this is the result of my etching mokume gene knife with coffee and it took almost 12 hours to come to this result as I made a concentrated solution of 3 full table spoon of coffee mixed in about 500 ml of water.
initially the result was promising I washed my knife with Backing soda solution for 10 min and then air dried. but after 2 to 3 days i got brown spots on the knife its mean oxidizing process started again and backing soda did not fully neutralized coffee acids.
Any suggestion or solution to get rid of brown tint on blade as i do not want to buff blade because i am afraid of losing black color of the edge of blade.
