Just found this site while looking for info on my new hobby, I log on as fredbert but my name is ed, do not know how family got fredbert out of ed but I am stuck with it.
I have just built a small gas forge using an old airbrush compressor tank about 16" long * 8" dia, so I' m just finding my way slowly and I am happy to do so.
I have also made a small furnace with some good aluminium and brass melting results it is charcoal or gas fired, I usually use MAPP gas which gives great results.
Any how just to let every one know who I am and I look forward to learning from those who know.
