the water was cold that day I was not thinking it was the first time I had talk to my daughter

oh sorry I have not been on much got new land and working on it so the forge has been down
the good news is found my daughter that my x wife took and hid 20 years ago from me we are now talking every day

well got crack in some blades when I quench them need some help
water quench the same way I do all the time

thanks all do love to see them and you do not want to get to close
with all this hot weather I can not forge we have been having fires
we have had two fire in 12 hour
hope to get out and do some fishing this week maybe get some pics

some whales that where is the bay today they where eating a seal

all I have is a round about 4 inch by 14 inch works good not great

I need to get a lot more time on the forge

some I made for a friend and the first ones for me

fire chief has cancer he is a real good friend and this is bad
he will be out of town for the summer getting chemo treatments
we will not know much for some time will let you all know when I know

I am acting fire chief so I am working a lot more so I may not be posting a lot

well there was hot spots from the cabin fire for 4 days
rain are going to get rain for a week so maybe no more fires

it works great he has made a knife on it

well to update this the cabin burned down to
he was making coffee and went up to the fire to see if they was any hot spots
and when he got back to the cabin it was on fire and it went to the grown
this is no joke

up north they get a lot of big fires that black spruce is real bad
southeast is not bad but we dry out fast three weeks without rain and we are so dry

we will take any rain we can get

drought like yes we are not water in a lot of the holes that we get water from it is getting hard to find water to fight fire with
we lived up there for 5 years I know how bad it can get Tok gets a lot of fires all the time
we are going to have a bad fire here if we do not get rain soon
