    I want to thank all of you. You all answered my question for my new system as well. I kept the top of my burner(the air intake, I guess) closed because I assumed it would leak propane. Because of this only orange flame burst out of the forge and no "jet" flame was happening. Because of your suggestions I opened up the air intake, and immediately the orange flame became a blue jet, which was adjustable and a responded to the high pressure valve. Thank you!
