Thanks guys where would I find a coal supplier in deep south east Georgia. I belive coal will be my choice if I can get it near me.I do work in a steel mill so I can get the metal to build a forge was just not sure how big it should be the 55 forge should be great for me.

I am a newbie and would like to build a small forge to practice on.I have looked at blueprints and how to's but would like to know where to start what size and fuel to use. thanks and god bless

Thanks for the info guys and yes I deal with offroad toys. Bulid them big break them rebuild them bigger. I have been lookin around the site and must say there is alot of talent here.

Thanks, what fell off is what I always ask the guy who want me to fix their tricks or weld things for them. kinda my catch phrase.I'm not sure of anyone near me who does forging unfortunatly. So I guess I will read all i can and practice till I can do better.

I am a 27 year old father of three. I work in a steel fabrication mill in south Giorgia. I have always been amazed buy blacksmithing and need a little help getting my feet wet. I am interested in knife making and would appreciate any advice I can get. Thanks and God bless you
