  7. Hey guys, I haven’t posted in a looong time. Figured I’d share some projects I’m pretty proud of. The first one is made from an old lawnmower blade with a walnut handle. The second one is made from some 1095 steel from Amazon, I finished these a while ago but never posted them. Yes I made the sheaths as well.
  8. I don’t know what he’s going to do with it I’ll find out and go from there! I’ll post the finished product here once it’s complete. Thanks for the info it was useful since I’m still new to blacksmithing!
  9. What temperature would you suggest for the temper? Also he does cabinets, shelves and things of that nature but he also does construction carpentry.
  10. Sorry! It’s 1095 steel haven’t heat treated it yet and it’s a kiridashi style carpenters knife. I’m hoping I can get to the heat treat tomorrow.
  11. I’m fairly new so I don’t know if I’m posting in the right spot, but I’m currently in the process of making this as trade for some handle wood. Any thoughts?
