  1. I just finished my first burner and it is a winner. It is based on the Oliver-upwind burner.Found this site about a week ago and thought this is so simple a caveman could do this.Corny aint it. It does work really well. Wish I had a camera ,sorry no pics. The only thing I changed is the flair . I used a 1 inch coupling with three set screws instead . The flame looks just like the one in the picture, nice and blue with a little orange around the edges . Now I have to build the forge. I'm thinking of using a freon tank but I do have a 10 inch diameter piece of pipe 12 inches long. Anybody have a suggestion.
  2. Thanks guys. I think I will put it aside and go with one made for propane. I have looked on Zoller Forge and he has the whole setup from the tank to the forge for 75 bucks.I am thinking of getting one of his sidearm burners also.Anyone familar with these?
  3. I have a Fairchild pressure regulator marked .5 to 30 model no. 10 pneumatic. Will this work with propane? It is new.
  4. Yep comes with a regulator and hose. Ive got someone that might be a potential buyer right now, but it is not a done deal just yet. So if this guy doesnt end up buying it you'll be first in line after him. Steve
