Charlie Crane

I owned my own Ornamental Iron company for around 10 years, but did little actual forging. Made a few knives, a sword, bent and twisted some gate internals, but mostly fabricated. I am now a welding instructor and just purchased a forge for the shop. Hope to have it by January. I would like to incorporate some forge work into the high school level training. I also am starting Crane Fab. to further challenge myself and prepare for retirement ( can't stop after work). I love steel but am starting to venture out to other metals and would rather not have to recreate the wheel, as the saying goes. I am interested in classes and just learning, but Elko, NV is a ways away for most people.
