I'm not 100% sure this is the appropriate forum for this question, but regardless: I would like to know if it is possible to forge a fully functional damascus flint striker out of 15N20 and 1084 steel. More specifically, I'm not sure if the nickel in the 15N20 will interfere with the striking process at all.
