I don’t know what kind of wood it is. I forgot to write it on the scales when I ordered it and I’ve had it for quit some time. ( rookie mistake lol ) the steel is 5160.

Hello everyone, this is my first post to this forum although I signed up a year ago. I’ve been smithing for awhile now and im looking for any smiths around Lincoln county montana. I’ve only made 16 knives so far and would definitely like to meet some more experienced smiths to maybe learn from. Here is a picture of my latest build.
