  3. I bought a PW weighing in at 395lbs. With a tree stump stand. Did you consider the height for hammering? I am thinking of what would work for me. Thanks NewIron
  4. By the way before you comment, my dixlexia kicked in when I was reading off the anvil. It is stamped 3 23 below is the circle "Solid Wrought" 0. Thanks

  6. I just found it is a Peter Wright weighing in at 395 LBS. Thank you for your help New Iron
  7. My wife pointed out that the numbered making on my Peter Wright is 3 0 23. That is translated to our system to weigh in at 395 lbs. Thanks New Iron

  8. Thank you for your help. With the responces I got, I was able to determine what weight and kind of anvil I purchased. Here it is, Peter Wright anvil weighing in at 397.Lbs. Thank you again New Iron

  9. I just bought an ANVIL which I had to lift out of my friends car with forks on my tractor. There are some markings which I am not sure what they mean. 3 0 25 I am still tring to figure out other markings. P A T L 0 (there are letter around that number or letter) Can any one help.
