About Me

805E433A-070F-4E2C-83E7-17C81B645AFA.thumb.jpeg.4b18018cdda6572d2161182b926fd6da.jpegHowdy. 28 year old rough-traveler here, originally from KS//GA. Back on the road of hitchhiking and freight hopping after 8 year hiatus to pursue my dreams of metal work, with my ultimate goal in bladesmithing.

Admittedly, I’m a total newb.

Thirsty for knowledge and willing to do whatever it takes to gain insights and experience. Eventually, when I do land in a spot, I plan to build my own basic set up to practice whatever I can on my own

I am on the road looking for work and a new place to reside for a while so that I can focus on building skill sets and stacking some cash to put toward proper classes and travel experiences in the future. Hoping to meet awesome folks along the way.

So far I have had one opportunity to finally bang out some metal and get my first forge in thanks to miss Elizabeth Belz of MN who so graciously gave me a one on one course at the metal museum in Memphis. That experience completely solidified my passion and high curiosity for this craft.

I’m desperate for more but am having difficulty finding the opportunities. .

Any words of advice or thoughts on locations to check out are greatly appreciated!

At the moment I’m in NW AR and tentatively planning to head west and up northwest (depending on what happens along the route). Open to all possibilities and have no concrete destinations as of yet.

Looking forward to chatting with you folks and learnin’ a thing or two :]
