Ouais, Je cherche des informations sur ces frères ou leur forge.
I'm fairly certain this one is a claudinon. Copy and paste of the one at a friend's family forge in seyssel.
You might get a kick out of their workshop! Wait for the water powered hammer.

Pleb, super information! Thank you for taking the time to share all of that! Somewhere to start digging... I've had probably too good of luck finding the information on my others, haha.

Thinking maybe it's a Claudinon, and that's just the clients name.

Well from what I found, I'm thinking. Marking is UAF, made by Société des Usines et Aciéries de Feignies in Northern France, formerly Sambre et Meuse until merger in 1942.

Hey just picked this up the other day, it's a 4 foot, body is cast with a hardened face, 135kg, 85cm length. I can't really make out the markings, other than the weight. Looks like maybe an "A F" in the bottom portion of the circle mark. Definitely something between that and the weight too. If anyone has encountered one like this or has any info please chime in!
Thanks!

Great great grandfathered in, lol. It was originally a Roman foundry site. Michelle is the current proprietor who's father ran the place before him. He does open doors for others to use the shop on request.
