    I have a well constructed homemade forge, and I was wondering if I need to line the forge pot with refractory? It is a thick forge pot, maybe 1/2" steel, however, I dont want to burn it thru. Thanks, please let me know.

    Hi my name is john, and I blacksmith in michigan. I havent been at it too terribly long, however, I have taken a class on the basics. Now my struggle is to find the equipment I need, to take it to the next level. Anyone know where I can find a hofi hammer? Thanks, John.
