  1. I recently found a method of blueing where you dip the item in ferric chloride for a few seconds rinse and put in an oven for 30 minutes. does anyone have experience with this?

  2. This post has been moved from another thread.

I was having trouble finding a good deal in my area so i spread my search a bit. I found what might be a good deal about 3 hours from me guy listed it for $450 talked him down to $300. I have yet to go see it. I wanted some opinions on it first. Here are some pictures. Let me know if it's worth the 300 plus a 3 hour drive.

  4. I know i am a little late to this conversation but there are valid arguments on this subject. Being a heating technician and look at this problem from that point of view the solution to this problem is to either get a bigger tank are manifold multiple together. each tank has a surface area and is rated for a certain amount of BTU/H which is indeed affected by the temperature. i am attempting to include a table with more detail.
