Hadn't thought about the tripping part, probably because I'm so used to stepping over everything anyway. My problem with the pallet jack is that would be another thing I don't have room for.

The angle iron is a good idea. With that I could get jack's with casters mounted to them and wouldn't need a pallet jack.

I picked up a Say Mak 110# that weighs about 2400 pounds total. I have very limited shop space so it will need to be mobile to move around for different projects. The casters I've been looking at have a leveling system that brings them up off the wheels and locks them into place. My question is have you seen hammers as big as these on wheels and do you think the hammering would be too much for the leveling rods to take? I couldn't paste a link to the type of caster but you can google workbench locking feet. I think I can get them rated for more weight. Thanks for any help. v

I get a lot of my info from accomplished smiths like Trenton Tye and Salem Straub. Also Walter Sorrels videos are helpful. I've been working with metal and tools my whole life so I'm pretty good at keeping myself uninjured. I've forged about 30 blades so far and I'm working on making some tools right now. I have thick skin so someone going off on me is not an issue. There are a lot of internet badasses who shrink considerably face to face. Thanks brother.

Thanks I updated my location. I've been reading and watching a lot of videos, watching one on making hardy tools at the moment. I love how smiths share info freely as everything I do is either by trial and error or watching videos and asking questions. This is such a great craft, I wish I had gotten into it 20 years ago. Something I always wanted to do.
