I have the lincoln 180 i love it i weld for a living it i great on lite stuff you can get the flex cord wire at Lowe's a 10 lb. roll is around $40 for .035 for larger stuff i get my Ln-25 out hope this helps

6011 is a good rod as stated above .sometimes if i have a gap i will take a 7018 and knock the flux off and use it as a filler like when you gas weld I hope this helps
