Bought my first anvil. It weighs 125 on the bathroom scales. It says FISHER on the bottom and there appears to be an eagle pressed into the body of it. I am told that anvils by Fisher prior to 1860 or so did not have raised eagles. Is that accurate? I am unable to see further ID marks on it but have not inspected closely and will ASAP.
