  1. my brother gifted me with a truck axle and a pile of rebar is rebar good stuff to practice with. I see there are many pros cons to the stuff but it's cheep and there is quite a bit of it. This may be a dumb question but how do you forge the ribs out of this stuff I have read that they can leave a week spot. If it has already been covered please point me in the direction I need to go.

  2. From what I see and read is that the tuyere is set up off the bottom of the fire box about two to three inches and most of them look to have a id of 3/4 to 1 inch. Is this correct information or am I not reading and seeing right?

  3. Well I know I want to use charcoal and I can get my hands on any thing I need at the local scrap yard.

  4. I have read so much my head hurts, break drum or rotor forge some say the make two big of a fire some say they are two shallow. Some say to fill in with a clay sand mix to forum a cone shape. I have read so much but I have not really grasped the purpose of why people would be saying these things. Please if any one can help me understand please help.
