Hello all. I was just sitting here watching the first snowfall of the season and thought I would search the web for some smithing ideas. Next thing I know I found this group.
I have been smithing for several years now as part of a local group. I like most anything to do with blacksmithing, but find reproducing fur trade and colonial era items most enjoyable. I am working on obtaining some original folding knife blades and trade axes (from a private collection) for study at this time.
If there are any others out there with a similar interest I would love to here from you.
