Thanks for the reply ^ Turbo7! I appreciate it. I've seen "groups", but I was more specifically looking for members in my area or state at least (Wisconsin) Maybe it's there somewhere & I just haven't found it.

Hi. New member to the site from the Fox valley area in Wisconsin. I'm looking for ideas & information. I've done classic auto restoration, welding, fab, etc & I'd like to try blacksmithing. I grew up on a farm & my dad had a forge & I remember watching him make some things on it. Dad & the forge are long gone, but I'd like to get into it more than just being a spectator to it. A relative has a forge (that hasn't been used in Many years) & some of the equipment, but I might build my own small forge & see what I can make.
