I was stripping a second bellows for repair so as to replace the burned one. On the last layer of muck, I found the throat had been patched at one time with the leather from a womans shoe.

Here's a close of up the damage inside.

An ember was sucked into the bellows and smoldered for several hours before being found.

Ouch!

And again, same stand and mando but a better view of how it hold the instrument.

Now a shot with my mando, to give you an idea of how it works.

I've not drilled it for mounting yet so I held it up to see what it will look like on the wall.
