  1. I was planning on opening up both doors in the garage and put a fan in the windows and door, I also have a 8 inch exhaust fan in the garage which I would turn on to prevent any CO poisoning. Its usally raining out here and no room outside to do it either. :( But, yes getting a CO detector will be a must even though I have the room opened. The wheels idea is a good idea, I will need to do that. For the vise(machinest) though I have a HUUUUGE one ways about 100 pounds but right now I am trying to figure out how I want to mount it, thinking along the lines of using some 6x6 lumber strapped together., or a stump.
  2. Well here is a picture of my garage/blacksmithing area....ignore the junk in the background. Any tips or pointers anyone can think of to make more use of my space?
  3. I've only done it as a hobby, I haven't sold anything at any shows or anything like that yet. I am hoping to make some extra money on the side though...eventually :)
  4. Hey all, This is my first time in this forum and hope to make it a constant place to come to. I have been out of the blacksmithing scene for quite some time now and am finally getting back into the game. I will try to forge something soon (probably a bottle opener) To get back in the feel of things. Look forward to learning more and becoming more informed in the field of smithing!
