    Axe Handle

  4. Started out as a brush-cutting axe...then one thing led to another. Used 3/4" stock for the handle, and a heavy-duty truck leaf-spring for the blade. Split the stock, riveted in place, then decided that I didn't want to trust my rivet, so I arc-welded the handle on. Painted black.

    Antique Anvil

    Inherited anvil from 2-4 generations back...not sure. Needs refurbished, but I'm happy with it.

  8. After thinking about what I would want to use as a touchmark, I decided to make one that reflected my squadron when I was flying in the Navy: VS-30 Diamondcutters. It's supposed to be a diamond on an anvil, with sparks flying out.
