I have a big Blue Blue but I'm looking for something with a little more control. After no response from Phoenix hammers I'm checking into the Iron Kiss hammer (Iron Kiss Hammers, LLC.) Does anyone have any opinions on this hammer? Thanks! IAF

I am interested in getting a new power hammer and have tried to get hold of the Phoenix company via phone and e mail a number of times to almost no avail. Someone did call me back after a number of initial calls and said they would send me some info. but never did. I have never received an e mail reply to my questions. If they are this hard to reach when you want to buy a hammer how much more so when your having problems. Is this hammer worth the trouble of dealing with this???

Hello from Iron Antler Forge! I just joined the team. I have some firebrick that a friend gave me and I want to build a brick-pile forge with it. The problem is there are several different types of brick and I don't know the temp. rating of any of them. Does anyone know of a Place is MD, preferably the DC/metro area, where I could take some samples to have their secrets told? Also, any good info out there on building a good brick-pile forge? I'm looking into building a 30" x 30" x 7" forge with 4 of the T-Rex or larger 1" model burners. Thanks everyone! IAF
