    I am planning to build myself a propane forge. I scavanged my property looking for something for a shell. Here is what i found. From Left to Right: an air tank. measures 8" in diamater (od), 24" long standard propane tank. measuring 12" x 12" some sort of old galvanized tank 16" diameter x 14" long I know i have read that galvie isnt good. but since i will be lining with kaowool, i didnt know if it was still an issue. I have also read that converting a propane tank is scary. but i can remove the nozzle and wash it out before cutting. so im not too scared about that. I am planning on making some blades mostly. possibly a few hammers. Which tank would be best to start with.
