Any one used an Ellsen power hammer? They come from china and are pretty cheap to import to the Uk.

Hi Dan,

Your list is fairly accurate the only one who you missed off was Ambrose, he suggest to me to start a thread on this forum for tips and tricks / shortcuts. I have no problem firewelding myself to date just would like to know if any other smiths have found any quirks they find makes it easier for themselves.

I'm a student from the Nation School of Blacksmithing (Hereford, England), I'm doing a project on firewelding, where i explore all the different types of fire welding and see if i can find any tips on tricks/ shortcuts on my route.
