It is only to be used for scraping hides so I left it rough.

This blade is made from leftovers from the first blade. Old lawnmower blade but it holds a great edge. The tang is 2/3 of the handle
The handle is apple with leather and copper (from an old CPU cooler) spacers, the bolster is japanese cherry (left from the first knife). The handle is a bit asymetrical but it fits my hand perfectly because of it. It was a scrap piece of apple and i worked with the form it already had.

Made another one at the same time. Will be posting it tomorrow along with an ulu I recently made.

The blade is the first I ever forged. Forged from an old lawnmowerblade. It holds a great edge.
The handle is japanese cherry, a leather spacer and the bolster is a piece of teak(from an old bedpost).
Sheath is made from some scrap leather and handstitched with waxed cotton thread.
It has been sitting in a box for a couple of years so we (wife and I) used it as a christmas present for a family member.
