Hi - new to gas forges and was starting on a coffee can forge. I was looking at my propane BBQ bits bin for usable stuff and thought of using the brass control/jet body out of a BBQ as the gas nozzle to feed teh burner tube. It already has a hose attachment and a gas control valve built in, and the jet appears to be changable though I've not looked at the threading.
I've searched here and the web and have not found anything on this. The search terms for this cause a lot of confusing hits with "master forge" BBQs etc.
Does anyone do this? If so any pointers? If not, why not?
